Over 40 athletes split between juniors and seniors made the trip to Bournemouth on Saturday to run the first Hampshire Cross Country league race. On a testing course the juniors put in some great displays which they should all be proud of. The standard of the performances, the numbers of juniors and the team spirit they are showing is a credit to themselves and the club. Well done all!!

Our Summer Handicap race follows a circular off-road route around Caesar's Camp, starting and finishing at the Peter Driver Sports Field. View the Route on Strava HERE. These timed monthly events involve runners setting off at intervals, based on their last effort across the course, or their predicted 10K finish time if new to the Handicap. The fastest runners set off last and the basic idea is that everyone finishes at roughly the same time. The series involves a system of points - the higher you finish, the more points you score - and these are totalled up across the series so that we have a winner and runners-up by the end of it.
